Oklahoma Lawyers for Children – Continuing Legal Education Event

Comprehensive Domestic Violence Training

OLFC has scheduled 4 Friday afternoons from 12:30pm - 4:30pm on July 7, 14, 21 and 28th to present 4 separate Domestic Violence trainings tailored to issues unique to juvenile court. The sections will also have trauma training incorporated where appropriate. In addition to DV and trauma training, we will offer insights and break-out training sessions for new OLFC Child's attorney volunteers and attorney GAL volunteers.

We have received permission for each of these 4 trainings to qualify for judicial CLE credit. Our trainings are in partnership with the Juvenile Law Section of the OBA which allows us to offer them for FREE to Juvenile Law Section members, OLFC volunteers, TLC volunteers, Oklahoma County Public Defenders, Oklahoma County District Attorneys and contract attorneys in Oklahoma County. Others wishing to attend will be charged $75 per 4 hour CLE session or $200 if registering and paying in advance for all 16 hours, this includes 2017 membership in the Juvenile Law Section.
